POST 8800

 

VFW Post 8800 was chartered 8 Nov 1984.  Our primary mission is to support veterans by providing mutual support and comradeship.  The post strives to maintain a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for service members, veterans, friends, family and the local community.

 

The Post and Auxiliary members provide service to the communities in the Hill Country surrounding Canyon Lake.

The main hall is used for meetings, events, dining and bingo.  The hall is smoke free.  Many activities, such as open grill nights and bingo are open to the public.  The hall may be rented for personal and community events.



The canteen is open to the public. Smoking is permitted in the canteen. In the canteen patrons will find several TVs, a jukebox, shuffleboard and video gaming for their entertainment.
